2strokeBear Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 My bike is a month old and i have a few mods. Sometimes when i ride the coolant spills out of the radiator and all over my pipes. Is this common, or am i having cooling problems. It usualy happens when i have been riding pretty hard. Quote

Is it coming out of that little stem under the radiator cap that doesnt have a hose on it going to the overflow catch can? maybe. the only other reason I could think of is a faulty cap. Quote
bansheesmoke Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 What mods and what main jets do you have? Running it hard while its running lean will cause overheating. Quote
kojack Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 mine does that all the time if it starts to get hot. Like if im riding on ice and snow and spinning alot but not going fast the radiator doesnt cool without air movement through the fins. If im riding on dirt and hooking up it doesnt heat up hardly at all. So may try to rich it up some if your hooking up fine on dirt and still having that problem. Do you have a temp guage? There is one out there called heetseeker that is reasonably priced. http://www.warpdriveperformance.com/ . This can help you keep and eye on temps as well. Good luck Quote
