okbeast Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Kinda hard to give you any idea from the info you've given. What mods do you have? What is your jetting, elevation, temps you ride in. Have you checked to see if you're getting a weak spark while kicking? Quote
dajogejr Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Get a clymers manual. Disassemble and clean out the carbs, one by one, noting what size jets are in it. Buy a quality compression tester and see what the cranking PSI is according to Clymer specs on how to test it. Quote

desert nut Posted January 17, 2007 Author Report Posted January 17, 2007 just had new rings put in but it has a weak spark but when it starts it runs great is it possible the stator or coil ???? i think i found the problem since i am used to 4 strockes i was not sure what to look for to find the problem but i cleaned the carbs and noticed the hose from one carb to the other carb was missing not the fuel hose the one for the choke. (duh) when i replaced it , it fired right up still runs a little rough but just might need a little fine tuning thank you all for your help Quote
