are you planning on keeping your motor stock as far as porting? if so go with the tr6's i have a buddy with t5's on a stock motor and just jetted and k&n pods and and same compression as me and i can out run him every time we race. we even switched bikes.mine was still faster i think the tr6's are awesome if you plan on keeping the motor relatively stock. if not go with the t'5 respond much better to porting/ mods. I am also looking for pipes on a stock engine and I am confused 1/3 say t6 1/3 say t5 1/3 say turner fmf procircut does anyone know where to find dyno reports on any of these to know what they really do I will be rideing trail/woods sand farm land I need low mid and top end whats the best all around pipe to buy :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

 

Dyno sheet peak hp numbers are useless to base information on when deciding your pipes. There are so many variables that can decide what pipe works best where. Modifications to your bike play a large role in this. Dyno sheets will show you the basic power curve of a pipe, but modifications to your bike can change this curve. You also need to pick a pipe that works with your mods, but the pipe may hamper your performance if you dont choose wisely.

 

So you need to tell us any performance stuff done to the bike, where you ride mostly, and what you would like the bike to run like.

Okay, I'm not gonna argue over pipes but I believe the fatty's are very under rated. They are much like the t-5's but may sign off a tad earlier. I wouldn't do t-6's, how long are you really gonna keep it stock? Alot of people may say that and then they get a taste of power and want more. I've used fatties for the trail and they do pull hard, you really cant go wrong with fatties, for the money there not bad, quality could be a little better but every pipe out there has at least one draw back. Just my oppinion. :beer:

^^^^ Has a point.We all started by saying were going to keep our shits stock.(Excluding Bigred lol etc.)And like a month later it starts with pipes and filters.Then reeds.Then we go fancy with a portjob.Then we get a coolhead and start running 100+ oct gas,So on So on.I would seriously buy t5s or CPIs.lol My CPIs werent that horrible and responded awesome to mods.Shit I went mudding last week with a guy with shearers running 16/39 gearing and drag ported cylinders and he did all right,You just gotta play with the clutch more.And we can all admit shees arent the BEST for trails.But if you say your keeping it stock just go with t5s.Ive personally seen them out perform t6s and Ive seen a t6 owner regret buying t6s.

Your pipe choice will be decided on YOUR type of riding, not what everyone on here THINKS!!! I've tried 7 different pipes on my shee and they are all different. There is no such perfect pipe for everyone...Where one pipe will shine on top will lose on the bottom...A 2 into 1 pipe will out perform any other in VERY tight woods riding 1-3rd gear. The top end is equal to stock....The best low end twin pipe is the ptr mids..They pull harder off the bottom than any twin pipe out there w/ a very broad powerband at a very low rpm. These pipe are great in woods, sand pits, on/off throttle alot areas. They pull hard out of the corners w/ no light switch powerband. Very smooth power and helps the shee hook up a lot....The top end is a lot better than stock. Ptr highs, T5's,bills, dmc, fmf sst's, fmf gnarly's are other great options w/ good bottom, great mid-top pull. These are better for more open areas like fire roads, dunes, flat track, fast trail, or anywhere you can hold it wide open for a while...then you have pro circuits, cpi, shearer, rockets, trinity. These are more for drag, tt's, fast duning or any fast riding, but you'll be using the clutch quite a bit....Hope this helps some people out. Like I said before, there are some big differences between these pipes, so choose wisely.
