seabass Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 My bike was running lousy. I'm doing my first rebuild. I thought maybe it was the rings. My rings, pistons, and cylinders look great. Where the reed cages go in, the cylinder intake is very dark, the other side is very clean. I assume this will be a problem with the carb. Am I correct in assuming this? What do you think the problem is? I have the clymers and will be going to look and see if I can diagnose this. I figured I'd post this first, knowing you guys will probably have a detailed explanation. Any help would be great. THANKS in advance. Quote
bansheerage Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 did you check compression before you tore into it??? if so what was it? did you add too much oil? or is your jetting off ? could be a couple things. Quote
