that carbon fiber looks sweet. i had a sobe can on my dirtbike but i took it off because it seemed like the reservior was getting a lot hotter than normal with it on. :down: that was motocrossing though.

on a banshee or for trail riding where the shock usually isnt worked as hard it may not be problem. i think im gonna try it on my shee.

oh and when the reservior was getting hot on me (too hot too hold your hand more than half a second) it was 30+ degrees celsius outside :shoothead:

i used a monster the same size as a red bull. all i did was cut right around the top ring, then cut down about 1/8th inch aournd the rim every 1/2 inch or so making lil tabs. i slid it on then i folded the lil tabs down and then tapped them with a flathead screwdriver. now it will stay on and not move without a clamp!

take that can off you shock and have it polished/chromed.

 

Totally agree, do it right the 1st time. Though that monster can looks good.
