ripped blaster Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 today i was riding my blaster and it just died. i got it home and was looking everything over and found that one of my reeds had broken. i think one of the pedals is in the motor. is this anything i need to worry about? will i need to take the motor apart to get it out or can i just leave it? dajogejr Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 drain the engine, pull it out and pull the top end off, see if you can flip it over and get it to fall out. You don't want a reed trashing around in the crank case, crank bearings, seals, etc.... Quote
bansheefreak Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 if it sucked a reed while riding it .. normally it will spit it out the exhaust .. anyone i ever heard that lost a reed and did a tear down never found anything... quess its up to you if you wanna tear down or take the chance....
