toomey Steel pipes

i just got the unfinished t5's and i found out that they rust really easy. What can i do to prevent this. Powdercoat. High temp spray paint. Does anybody have these and what have you experienced with them.

just coat them in silicone oil everytime they get wet, unless you want them to get finished.

What do you mean Silicon oil. should i do that everytime i go riding or everytime its wet outside.

i have done heat temp paint and it works ok but will chip off pretty easily. then i used heat temp PC. that shit works. the finish is good and its very durable. i would def recommend the heat temp PC...
