Lethaface Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 These carbs are in very good shape..Nice working carbs..They have been polished to a pretty good shine..There is some slight pitting on one of the carb bowls but they are still in nice shape..Only reason for selling is i need something a little bit bigger for my Cheetah cub build.. $250 Shipped Not pictured but the carbs do come with slides and caps Quote

Lethaface Posted December 21, 2006 Author Report Posted December 21, 2006 Alright i'll give a quick walk through for you guys ..Basically take everything off your carbs that will be in the way like vent hoses, choke lever, cap, slides and cable..From there you do not have to sand..Just go to lowes and get some of there jewlers rougue and a cotton wheel..I got the 3 softests grades of rouge..They are numbered 4, 5 and 6 on there container..6 producing the highest shine but 4 has to be used to get all the rough stuff..Start by putting stage 4 rougue on the cotton wheel while it's spinning..Then just start polishing away..DO all the carb a couple times and then go on to the 5..Use the same process then move along to the 6..Depending on the time you put in it you should come out with a pretty good reflection..If you do have a dremmel with some polishing pads it is good for the small hard to reach areas.. best of luck to all who tries it .. As for the Carbs.. 200 shipped to the lower 48  Quote
