Ok guys . i need help. I find out my seal for the shifter shaft is gone . do i need to spilting the case to put a new seal in or what do i need to do?

No you don't have to split the cases. I found with mine that it was easier to slide the shift shaft out to get the seal out. I also already had the clutch cover off and all fluids drained so that made it even easier. I couldn't seem to get anything in to pull the old seal out w/ the shaft in.

I just replaced mine last week after a couple months of leaking. Just lube your new seal with a little oil and tap it in place with a similar diameter socket. You will have to use a 1/2" drive socket to fit over the shifter shaft. That's it.
