sand rocket Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 Im going to have some Pc done in the near future. I need to have the frame striped. I can get it sand blasted for $65.00. I deal with Multi million dollar pc systems at work. We use a burn off oven to strip the blems on quality rejected parts. oven heat to about 1150 deg to burn off the powder. Would this have any Ill affects on a frame? Quote
kaotik1 Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 1150 degress seems a bit extreme. We only go to 600 degrees for our burn offs, I think that high would have some downfall to the integrity to the welds on the frame. Quote
