glock221 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Who runs a case saver. I am strictly drag, will it help me if I break my big ass sidewinder TI-Moly chain? Quote
bansheeboy757 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 It will help your wallet  It is hard to break a sidewinderchain but I would buy a case saver. A guy in the forums named CSAVER sells them for around $20. Cheap insurance in my oppinion Quote
BdBanshee Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 I am finally going to put one on mine. His e-mail is [email protected] , I am buying a few from him for $20 each with free shipping if you mention you are a Banshee HQ member. Quote
BlueBlaster01. Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Well, I think of it as cheap insurance! It pays to buy one, even if you never "need" it. I'm running the "CSAVER" case saver bought off the guy on here...for $20 + Free Shipping. Fit alright, It was a little long (don't know if im the only one). But I'm not complaining for half the cost of another brand...I don't mind using the dremel a little bit 8) Quote
clintopher- Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Thanks for putting his email address up BdBanshee. I'm gonna send him one right now. Can't beat 20 bucks. Clint Quote
Phast Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Id rather buy a casesaver than new/used case halfs! Quote
willthethrill Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 i Bought one off of him from ebay. I cant seem to get the holes lined up to put the allen screw in. Should i grind a little off the bottom of the saver and try and get the holes to line up? I couldt figure out why they werent going in. Quote
421stroker Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I had that problem too with the holes not lineing up. I just took a drill press and made one of the holes a little bigger. Took a little time and patience, but i finally got it. 8) Later. Quote
2001SSTBanshee Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I got that case saver, mine fit right on I think. I got one of those ti moly set ups from sidewinder too, and it would be pretty hard to break. The tensile stregnth is like 14000.... Quote
