NY350twin Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 I have my banshee in a storage unit. And I going to putting another quad in thier and I want to know if its all right to leave the banshee standing on the rear wheels and grab bar for weeks at a time. I just don't want to store it like that then when I go to ride the floats get stuck or any other problems, and yes the gas would be turned off and try to keep the fuel level in the tank as low as possible when storing. Thanks. Quote
Mullet Man Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 just drain all the fluids, it would take about 20min to do it. Quote
NY350twin Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 I am not trying to store long term. I still want to go riding everyother weekend. Anybody think I might have an issue ???? Quote
Mullet Man Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 i would think that you would be fine by just draining the carb bowls then. i've seen people haul 6 quads on a car trailer like that before 2 wide 3 deep all standing up on the ass end Quote
Bansh-eman Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 i personally wouldnt do it.... i have heard that it dosent hurt it ... but iv also heard it does... im not 100% on a banshee if it will effect it or not but a 4 stroke you dont want to leave up like that. Quote
HotCarl Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 I've had trouble with the tranny fluid running out of the breather. Quote
4everwantedbanshee Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 yeah it does run out of the bleeder. thats why i put mine facing forward. the only thing that it does would be is that it would make it hard to turn on. thats all the problems i had. Quote
