dajogejr Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I know if you're running the 68 pilots that is most of your problem.Go down to a 50 pilot and adjust your air screws.Try that before moving your needle position and see how it reacts. Yep, beat me to it. We use a 55 to 60 pilot on ALKY.... I had the same motor, same carbs, Shearer/RDZ inframes. With 48 pilots and 150 mains, it ripped. The cubs seem to favor a small pilot but good size mains. I also used the CEL needle, middle clip. Yeah, you gotta be on the pipe for a cub to be fun, and they suck gas big time... Quote
moneybags Posted January 2, 2007 Author Report Posted January 2, 2007 Ok, So I will go out and get some 50 pilot and some 152 main jets and see how it runs from their. As for how it ran from 0 to 1/4 throttle. I dont know. I dont like to go slow. But I can tell you that I have to give it alittle gas to get to start when kicking it. The plugs I keept an eye on and they stayed the same on both sides. Black and dry I have not been able to edit my profile. So I could not change my Banshee sig. I bumped my timing to +6 Thanks Quote
wesw Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 I did not get anything fot the 06 as of yet. I got the 35PWK for the 421 cheeta cub with the 4mill stroker. The 02 that is listed in sig. The carbs came with 160 main jets and 68 pilet jets and clip in middel first off are you running duals now or what. you say pwk then its carbs pural. meaning more than one correct. i take it is duals. you need to see what needle it has. 50-55 pilot, depending on needle 3/4 clip. and 150-155 mains. youll need to sync the carbs good also. jeff has that tool you can get. should run well. might have to adjust a bit.
