banshee freak Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 OK well i bought these nerf bars off of a guy but i cant get the clutch side peg to go on with the nerfs. that side has a curve in the peg and i cant bolt the nerf to it?? its weird that they would make it like that...anywho i was going to take some pics to show you guys but i can never get them to upload on this site anywho if anybody can help me that would be great.....or even take a quick snap shot of yours to show me how its set up...... thanks aot for any input!!! 4strokessuck Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 (edited) Sounds like DG nerfs. Mine came with a 1/2" spacer and a longer bolt. Just do the same with some washers and a bolt at the hardware store. Good luck. To be really safe, get all the bolts 1/4" longer. With the nerf bars in place you lose much needed thread into the quad. The stock bolts origionally only thread into the quad about 3/4" Edited December 1, 2006 by 4strokessuck Quote
