What do you guys use for replacment clamps? I lost 2. One for the carb boot and one for the intake so I decided to buy all new. I went to the stealership on my way up to camp and they wanted 10.44 a piece. So I just went to lowes and bought the exact same clamps for 87. a piece. I put them on pretty damn tight but no air should get in there anyway. I dont think it will tear into the rubber either. After I sanded down the rubber tits on the intake I put the grey gasket sealer on each side of my new VF3s and parts sorounding. It fired rite up. I hope none got into the reed itself but I was pretty carefull.

the big ones on the filter side go to home depot they got them for like 99 cents each... and you can go to a auto parts store for the smaller ones on the motor side... also dont buy spark plugs at the stealership they charge 4 or 5 bucks a pop you can get them 1.89 at pep boys...

Yeah I figured I would go to the stealership on my way up instead of going to see my guy incase he dident have any. But 10.44 a clamp I said Pfffffft Im going to lowes. Lowes had every clamp size I needed. As for Plugs yeah your rite. my guy gives me the B8ES for 2 bucks a pop Though. I get my Castrol 927 for 6 bucks for 16oz the stealership wants 10. He (Cody Buchanan) suguested I run a fully synthetic gear oil. I forget the name. Grey bottle green and grey stickers. I havent tried it yet. He said alot of guys will disagree with him but thats all he runs in all of his bikes and he said as long as you change it regularly you wont have any problems.
