bad_shee05 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Hey there. i have a quick question for you guys. I recently sheered off a flywheel key on my banshee and then my coil was fried. well i put a new coil on it and it ran like a champ. I warmed her up and took it down the road and back and all was fine. then i fired it up later and took it for a ride and then i went to down shift and it shifts really hard and i get to neutral really easy and it takes forever to get into first. its like the shifter is locked. Any suggestions? i have a new clutch and oil level is good. Also on my left side of my exaust where it goes into the silencer it has dark burnt oil spots on the pipe! could i be mixed too rich? thanks alot! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 check your shift shaft... it might be time to rebuild it... Quote
racer Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 that or the return spring on the shift lever may be worn, or the stud that holds the spring may be sheared off. Quote
