The Blaze Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 around here i'll be riding the same elevation the whole time, so thats not a problem, i was just wondering how often you have to re jet for temperature changes. like every 10C, 20C? less? please use C if at all possible. thanks  Quote
sredish Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 don't have a clue about C. depends on how drastic of a change. in texas, we have (forgive me) 100* F in the summer and 50* in the winter. To me, that would equate to a main jet or maybe two depending but I don't really ride when it's colder than that. Pilot probably won't need changing, maybe an air screw adjustment. The needle may or may not need a clip change. You can probably get by w/o touching anything but the main a size. Quote
The Blaze Posted November 24, 2006 Author Report Posted November 24, 2006 ok thanks for the reply. anyone else? Quote

About that "C', I think he means he wants the temperature in metric units. Doesn't he remember how easy it is to convert? "C" degrees=5/9(F degrees-32) & "F" degrees=9/5(C degrees + 32) Quote
scooter Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 im not sure about c but i dont rejet for 20 or 30 degreas of tempture if its cold i aint riding anyway. 65 to 100 maybe Quote
The Blaze Posted December 2, 2006 Author Report Posted December 2, 2006 fair weather rider are we? lol, thanks guys  Quote
scooter Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 yep. i only ride in the sand and i aint gonna freeze my ass off to do it Quote
dajogejr Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 25 to 30 degrees F requires a main jet change normally.... Quote
broke Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 I will notice the difference in my bike after about a 15F degree change. I have a chart made that tells me what i ran last time is was this temp, so I have a baseline to tune from. It's weird how much we oppose anything metric here. We use it alot a work, so I have just become used to it, but still won't even admit it exists outside of work. Quote
