Coolant Leak

Hello

 

I have a problem with a coolant leak on my banshee. The following is what I have on my bashee and symptoms.

 

(current list of parts on bike)

Toomey T6

290 main jets

25 pilot

K&N filter pods on each carb

stock carbs (mikuni)

I took off the air box

 

When i bought my banshee, i took it out it heated to the extent of coolant is leaking from the over flow tube. It came from the right side top of the radiator. this happened before i added on the Toomey exhaust or jets. The jets at this time where 180 main and 25 pilots.

 

Then I put on my exhaust, I changed jets to 290 mains and kept the 25 pilots. I also changed the coolant with something called COOLANOL. it was recommended by a place where i bought my exhaust. For about two trips to glamis it did not leak.

 

I just went to Glamis on nov 18 2006, I noticed that it started to leak some coolant from the same side. it does not leak the same amount but enough to smeel the coolant off the exhaust pipe.

 

What can it be and how can I fix????

dumb question but same thing happened to me yesterday. The rubber hose at the top of the radiater came of a little bit. Enough for water to spill out.
