N-t-S Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Currently I'm trying to sell a snowmobile on another forum. In the add I mentioned that I would entertain all offers and consider taking trades. Today a guy mentioned he would like to trade his Banshee for my sled. It looks pretty sweet and has a $hit load of mods which include: Chassis Adjustable caster/camber Chromoly A-Arms 2+ wider/2+forword Chromoly round housing swing arm Chromoly tie rods with hiem ends Chromoly desert bumper Denton steering stabilizer AC aluminum nerf bars with nets AC aluminum rear grab bars Answer alumalite bar Pro design tether MSR easy pull cultch lever MSR brake lever NACS billet dog bone NACS billet rear caliper cover Braided brake lines front & rear Works triple rate front shocks Denton revolver rear shocks with eibach spring Cascade chain guide & roller Dura Blue + 4 axle Billet sprocket mount Pipe hangers& connectors Champion bead locks with grooved terftamers Douglas reinforced rims with grooved parelli radials New OEM plastic Cascade complete seat Motion pro twist throttle Motor 370 long rod Trued & welded crank with +4 mm hot rods Ported cylinders Case ported Milled head Vitos boost ported pistons V-force reeds Reed spacers 30mm mikunis bored to 32mm with vitos jet kit Toomey 2 into 1 air filter kit Uni 2 stage filter Outerwear Pro design billet adjustable timing plate FMF fatty Pipes FMF power core silencers Shift star mod The frame is an 89'. The guy sounds like he know's his $hit. Due to the area I Live, chances are I would have to sell the unit because I couldn't get it out of 2nd. gear. What type of Money is something like this worth... realistically. Thanks P.s. This looks like a killer Site! Quote
Animalman294 Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Welcome to the HQ............. You can always turn around and sell the shee, probably a lot easier than the sled. With all the mods its worth a bit, but on an 89 frame, not sure would have to see pics. Whats your sled blue book for...............? Quote
N-t-S Posted November 20, 2006 Author Report Posted November 20, 2006 I would like to see 3K for my sled. I really not to concerned if I get exactly what I want Financial rather, I really don't want to get something I'm going to get stuck with. There is a strong posability that I would sell the unit. If everything looked to be in good shape on the bike what could I sell it for??? Quote
N-t-S Posted November 21, 2006 Author Report Posted November 21, 2006 Anybody else have a ballpark figure what this bike might be worth? Quote
ohiobanshee Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 3 to 4,000 depends on how bad somebody wants it. Quote
nunyabinness Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 also depends on your location and a little on time of year you are trying to sell it. Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I would do it then part out that banshee thats an easy $4,000 if you know how to work ebay right. Or just ride it cause it looks pretty nice  Quote

Parting bikes is great if you have the time and patience for it.. Last bike I parted was an 05 GSXR1000 and I still have crap laying around 6 months later.. I don't think I'll do that again soon. Okay, I have never boasted having great reading skills, but didn't he say it had Chromaly A-arms? Meaning they were modded? So it may be pre-90 Quote

I was looking earlier today for shipping options with your other issue. I believe "forward air" brings a metal container directly to the pick up point and all you do is roll the bike/atv in and lock it. If I wasen't 800 miles away I'd go get it for you in a heartbeat.. Even called my buddy that does 18wheeler jobs, but he's back and forth to CA, and does not get near the guy's area. Quote
