I have a used Hot Rods stroker crank and I don't know the rod length or stroke. What is the best way to measure to figure it out?? Can you measure the cylinder spacer plates?? I figured the gasket thickness is figured into play on those so I didn't think that would be accurate.

what is the number that is stamped on the side of the rod? real easy way to tell what you have

as long as no one has messed with it. also I would use differnt pistons and get your domes cut before I would use a spacer plate! those things are knowen for air leaks.

The rods are C.K. 158 Hot Rods. That is what is stamped on the side. The spacer plates are 3 mm thick. I may not use the plates, just trying to figure out what I have first :D
