For Sale: 1998 Yamaha Banshee $4899, stock motor, never molested.

I still can't believe I am doing this, but I need the money for a down payment on a house. This is by far one of the nicest banshees around. It was purchased brand new by one of my friends in 98 and it was sold to me in 2002 since he moved to DC. I now live in Harrisburg, PA and don't have the time to ride or space to store it. The quad is stored at my mother's house in Ashville, PA 16613 (@ 10 miles north of Altoona, PA).

White and blue plastic (custom race cut fenders), powder-coated frame, ITP C-Series polished rims (10x5, 10x8), American Racer tires, V-Force V3 reeds, pro design intake, Kiehin 28mm PWKs, K&N filters and outerwears, T-5 pipes and silencers, aluminum exhaust clamps, chrome armadillo A-arms (+2/+1), Durablue eliminator rear axle (2+2), Works triple rate shocks with cans (front), front and rear black shockwears, stainless steel front brake lines, DG chrome front bumper, AC propeg aluminum nerf bars, polished radiator grill, aluminum gas cap, aluminum skid plate, stainless steel stator case and clutch case bolts, billet brake block off plate, aluminum gear oil dipstick, renthal handlebars and grips, CEET graphics, twist throttle, pro design mega flow impeller, runs on C-12, Cycle Logicengine ice coolant, BelRay gear oil, BelRay 2 stroke oil.

Gear oil is changed every year (~10 hours rode per year). VP C-12 was ran in the banshee for 95% of it's life (I still have the VP drum in the shed). Runs great, never had any problems. Always starts on the first kick. Placed in heated storage during winter months.

Don't waste my time with low-ball offers.

that is a clean looking bike. but i hate to say it the best chance you are going to have making money on it is to part it out. i know that's not what you want to hear but unfortunately its true. the problem with selling banshees on this site is that people here know that it is possible to get nice bikes like that for maybe half that price. good luck and i hope you get what you are looking for out of it. great looking bike.

I love this bike, if I had the money I would buy it in a heart beat. The colors, chrome, tires, wheels, pipes, I don't know there just isn't one thing i don't like about it. Good luck on your sell man. Well worth 4,300 in my mind.
