My buddy and neighbour have 2 pits and they are fantastic dogs, here in Ontario they are banned , so when these ones are gone, won't see many more. I think it's all in their upbringing, I let my 3yr old play with the dogs all the time, I feel he's safer with the pits than with the other nieghbours Lab!

 

Nice dogs guys, Boxers are my personal fav's though :cool:

yea i just bought a couple books about pits and they say to wait untill they grow and get there shape and personality a little more and you will be able to tell the breed for sure , they also said that color means nothing.....

Hey man!!! Nice dog!!! :beer: Yea i think hes going to be a tall one!!! I love pit bulls!!!! But my best friend is my Bullterier!!! Hes name is Kaydo!!! Such a playful STRONG dog!!! Hes like i miniture tank :banghead: !!! Extremely loyal and obedient!!!

who ever made that book is crazy!!!

you can tell a rednose from a american just by the color. You can tell from looking at a puppy if its pure or not, when they get a little older it just becomes easier. Also If you need any insight on training that little fella, feel free to shot me a PM. Im more than sure a few members will chime in and tell you how I have my dogs :biggrin:
