FMS50 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 My friend has a 98 Banshee that has a stage 3 port and polish, T-5 pipes and indivedual K&N filters and a White Brothers boost bottle or what ever that thing is that connects the 2 manifolds together. He just got the engine back from the shop because it was stuck in second gear so they fixed it for him. On our second trip to dumont dunes we noticed that the Left pipe smokes alot more than the right at idle infact there isnt really any smoke out of the right pipe. once the RPM's are brought up they both smoke but it seems the right side is still more. He isnt worried about the smoke he is worried that the 2 cylinders are running differently. I told him the carbs may not be adjusted right because thats the only thing I can think of that would make a difference but im no mechanic. He thinks the Boost bottle is suposed to take care of that problem and equal out the cylinders so I decided to make a post to see what you guys think because I know that some of you do alot of your own work.
