x the big hit x Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 alright so i got the t-5 exhaust..put the 180 main jet in..put in the new throttle needle then put the exhaust on..but it doesnt idle..i dont get it..if you've had a similar problem or know what it might be..please help. thanks guys. :beer: Quote

BlueBanshee05 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 (edited) I hope ur not putting in 180, the jet that comes in the kit is a 280, and your airscrew should be around 1 1/2 turns out and clip on 4th groove i believe. You might have to adjust your idle. asnd right there is ur problem your using their needles dont they suck, just use the stock ones they work better i was told this same thing when i got my T5 kit for my 05. redneck Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 I am guessing you bought the jet kit, make sure you drill the holes out for the little vents.... I had to take the snorkel off also. Did you do all of this. When I installed my t5s I didnt have to adjust any air screws. Quote
