Alright so I've heard some good about them and mostly bad and people saying they are not good for dunes or drag ( which is all I do ). Anyway everyone says the size of the carb limits the top end of the single setup deal. So Im wondering what if I were to run just a single carb setup but with like a 40mm carb? I've never seen a intake that big but have seen a 36 or so. Just wondering if the "potentially" lost top end could somewhat come back running a bigger carb?

Because everyone says the single carb you lose top end. So I was thinking like a 40mm carb bigger = more fuel right? While still having the single setup bottom and mid possibly?

I'm clueless on tech stuff but I think you need a bigger engine to go with bigger carbs.

I ride at Glamis only and got a 35mm CV setup. I was told even 35 should go with a ported engine. Which i don't have. But it runs great.

If you dune more than drag, get a 35, if you drag more than dune...get a pair of 33's or 35s.

I'm not sure how strong RDZ's level 2 porting is...but, I think you'll be fine with any of those choices.

I'm running the 35 with my 4 mil cub and I don't have any problems. I was thinking of maybe trying a 38 and seeing if I could gain anything there but it runs so good now I hate to mess with it.

I think if you got one you'd really like it. I thought I would give the 2 into 1 a try...haven't looked back since. Ran good on my ported motor...now it runs good on my cub. Haven't had any jetting issues. Pulls hard all the way bottom to top. I know I could gain more on top with duals but the 2 into 1 runs so good as it is and it's so easy to tune and adjust. I'm with you...the people that don't like them are people who haven't ran them before. If you are an all out dragger yeah of course don't run the single but it's good for everything else. I trail and dune my cub with the occassional draggin' and i'm out in front most of the time. I just get tired of people doggin' the 2 into 1 setup just because they haven't tried it.

Maybe I'll check into a 2 into 1 then. I hear bad things but almost everyone that dont like them has never run one.

I have singles on both my bikes, I gained more mid to top than bottom on a fully ported motor, the cv stands for constant velocity, it works by not letting the single carb lose the forward signal wave of fuel when the reed cycles closed at TDC, instead the flow switches to the opposite cylinder, it never stops forward motion. The only flaw that can hinder this is an air leak, I found a single highlights those a lot faster than a set of duels. Hope this helps.

in my exp., its all been good. ive got one on my 98 with a dune P&P. i just put on a stock 04 with 18cc domes and T-5s. i also put one on a 03 4mil stroker and it would pull 4th gear on its own on pavement. ive noticed u do lose A LITTLE bit of top end, BUT NOT MUCH. u do gain on the low end. just my $.02

Guess I'll give it a whirl. If it dont go as planned Ill just sell it and get a set of 35's.

Keep your eye out. I'll have my 35PWKs for sale after this weekend, they're already powerjetted and on gas...ready for alky if you decide to go that way...

I've already given JT (badassbanshee479) dibbs on them for his buddy...but, if he doesn't want 'em, they'll be up on the block real fast....

I'm offing a bunch of stuff off the bike when I get back from this weekend....
