hawk363 Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 What up fellas? i am thinking of goin to a twist throttle and was wondering how hard it is to install the idle kit to the top of the carbs. Is this somethin a guy could do that has never torn down the carbs or should i leave it up to a stealership to do it for me? thanks for the help Quote
smokin 2 stroke Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 if u sue to em go for it but when i got my banshee it had one and i hate it is so hard to jump with it lol i crashed twice cause if it 8yrs with thum then to twist nuh uh dont work for me but it should be something you would be able to do Quote
hawk363 Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 what makes it so hard to jump? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 its hard for him to jump casue he cant ride... twist throttles are nice... only time they suck is when the bike gets away from you over something like woop sections, but thats why there is a clutch... as far as idleing it get the taller adjusters for the caps ... its pretty ez to set them up.... use the adjusters to make sure both slides are pulling together and then you should have an idle screw thats where you adjust your idle speed... I'm with you. I have one on my shee and my raptor and love them both. I will admit there was an adjustment period, But it only took a couple rides to get comfortable with it. Quote
