Ok guys .I live up in Canada and aftermarket parts for the banshee is hard to come by . So over the winter I want to rebuild my motor .. I got a 2000 banshee nothing crazy done to it only Boyeson power pro lite reeds, and bored one over from stock. Running a 15 ,41 sprockets and Bills Pipes and getting about 85 to90 mph out of it still can bet all on my friends on they little z400,craptors and predators,. I love the speed and would like to get the most speed I can get out of the banshee . I would love to hit 110mph plus. I only got 1800$ (Canadian) . I would like to do the top and bottom . So hear comes the hard part . What parts do I need . I would like to go with a stoker kit and a big bore to a 404 . I did price the stoker kit and big bore kit from my local dealer . It was 1600$ plus tax for the kits with labor . But I want a noss head or cool head .. So were can I get the kits cheaper ..

Good luck....

Stock they have 33 to 35.

Right now you're probably about 40ish.

You're gonna need, IMO, 60 to 75HP to pull the gearing you need to get to 110MPH.

If not more.

If you can't do the work yourself, you're gonna probably have a hard time getting to 110MPH with that budget.

Once you start putting power to the ground, are you ready to get a longer swingarm, bigger carbs, top end pipes, etc in order to make that motor run?

Is top speed all you're after?

will more top end then bottom. Can you tell me what i all need to get it to hit 100mph then and can u give me a price list .. I'm getting new 2+1+ a-arms ,4+ axle and a lowing kit too . 1800$ thats what i got now but time winter is done i should have 2500$ to put in the banshee.

4 mil cub with drag porting, cool head with 18 or 19cc domes, and 35 or 39PWK carbs on alky...then some good top end pipes, Shearers or CPIs.

Prices vary....you'll have to call around and see who'll ship to Canada...

I think Jeff does:

running street tyres instead of knobbys would go a long way to getting you to youre desired goal. knobbys take a huge ammount of power because of their very high rolling resistance.
