kubiac3 Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Put the banshee back together last night after a total rebuild, worked on it till 6am. Couldn't get it started. The only wires I disconnected were the plug coming off the stator. I get no spark what so ever so i decided instead of spending all the time to figure out what wire is fucked and where it is im just going to rewire the whole thing. Has anyone done this and did they have any problems during it that they didnt expect. Its a 95 and theres bare wires showing at almost every connector so I think its a good idea. Correct me if im wrong. Quote
dajogejr Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Yep...I would. Nothing like dicking around all day and night trying to figure out a ground problem or a bare wire. Now's also the time to move your CDI up front....so you can clean up the wiring as well. If you want to run lights, you need a few extra wires, but..if you're going "Lights out"...shit, easier than ever! It's either here or on planet sand.com that they show what wires you need, and how to slim down your harness!! Quote

I dont have an air box so theres plenty of space around there. Quote
dajogejr Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 locogoto had a post on relocating his in front of the radiator.... I'm sure if you removed the TORS brain under the left side of a gas tank, you could make a bracket to hold it there, as well.... Quote
