Ill be waiting in line for the ps3 to sell it on ebay for sure. Thats an easy $1500 for waiting in line for 10 hours. Ill probley pay one of my friends to sit with me and get two of them to sell on ebay. I heard storys of people getting held at gun point for the 360's...fucking crazy.

I don't think you need to be leary of getting the first one out. I got my PS2 the day they were released (by accident). It is still going strong. I have never had a problem with it.

When PS2 came out, there was a line at Walmart from the electronics department clear to the garden section. When I saw that, I left. The next morning, my wife went to Target, and they had a whole pallet full of them. She just picked one up and bought it for me. There wasn't even a line, they were just sitting there.

I bet there won't even be a line for PS3 except maybe at a "release event" or some bogus promo rally.

I can't beleive they are releasing Ridge Racer again. I won't fall for that shit this time!

Too bad the only game (motorstorm) I am remotely interested in isn't even being released when the console is.

I never thought about Target. Most people probably try to hit Wal-mart.

Im a ups driver and gamestop is on my route. When i was delivering to them in the morning last week i saw a line in front of the store and found out it was just to reserve the system. Knowing how hard its going to be to get this christmas, i put 100 down and got my name first on the list. Ive already seen some reserves go for 1600 on ebay so thats where ill be putting mine.
