best place to buy piston kits

was wondering where the cheapest place to get weisco piston kits is

and how for should i go on the boaring i hear alot of guys go .080 right from stock is this true?

i buy my shit from FAST...there is no need to bore your cylinders unless its time to rebuild. dont waste going right to 80 over..just go to the next bore size..

have to bore them they have a taper in them.......

and it was for sure time to rebuild......its a 01 and this is the first time the head had been off the motor

 

 

 

this all started from the damn e-clip on the shift fork shaft breaking and the shaft sliding out of the case........lol

 

machinist says they have a thousadths and a half taper in the cylinders

ebay is cheapest , they sell for like 109$ ,do not go .080 over ..go over only as need to clean up and straighten the bore ,youll gain practically no power by being 80 over (maybe only 2hp). youd be just wasteing good bores that youll surely need down the road . :beer: if yo uwant more power then port your cylinders instead .
