Me and 3 of my riding buddies r thinking about starting a little business and im wanting some in put from u guys. We're thinking about making custom bumpers, grab bars and other odds and ends. Any design u guys want, one of us will blueprint up, send it back to u to get more input on it and go from there. Just let me know what u guys think. We havent started anything yet, this is just in the thought process. First off, we're going to make our own stuff for my 98 and an 04 banshee, 06 Raptor and 07 YFZ. Ill get pics posted up of them once we hit the ground walking :beer:

make some heel guards that bolt on the pegs. I have a set of old nerfs without heel guards and damn near tore my leg off last Saturday. (thank god for boots) just an idea.

Damn good idea, we never have enough parts and we definately need different designs. Those heel guards are a very good suggestion & need them myself. What tools & machines will you guys work with? I'd like to see more bumpers. I like alot of the aftermarket ones but they look better on other quads vs Banshee's. I'd like to see somethin like the stock bumper but with a new look. Maybe same desing different tubing.

thats y weve come up with this idea of starting a company, mainly for now, were going to try using tigs, torches and other little shop tools to start out at. just depends on if this gets up and goes like we hope. thanks for the feedback. we thought the same exact thing with the stock banshee bumper :thumbsup:

also, were going to mainly run with yamahas for right now just b/c thats what we ride and we can bolt up to to check our measurment out

Another idea would be a gas tank. i don't like the oversized bulky tanks. So I'm thinkin of making one that stretches from it's regular position back towards the seat. Cut the seat from the front to allow room for tank. That way the Banshee keeps that OG look. You guys think you can fabricate a bumper for me? I can draw it up no prob!

Another idea would be a gas tank. i don't like the oversized bulky tanks. So I'm thinkin of making one that stretches from it's regular position back towards the seat. Cut the seat from the front to allow room for tank. That way the Banshee keeps that OG look. You guys think you can fabricate a bumper for me? I can draw it up no prob!

dont know about a gas tank, but the bumper prob. dont keep ur hopes up right away though. we basically came up with this idea last night (friday night) while sitting around BS-ing in the shop after my buddy ronnie finished make a RUFF (and i do mean RUFF) grab bar for his 06 raptor

People like you are your friends - machinists and fabricators - can go there and get work. It could be the store front you are looking for. Albeit you might get a lot more odd jobs than just ATV bumpers and such.

for a production aspect ..youd really benefit from a cnc mill but thats alot of capitol to initially spend when yo u start a business like yours.good luck and dont be afraid to take a chance ,some of the biggest most profitable companies in the wrold started in some guys garage with his buddies

ya, maybe we'll get there some day. i may have another set of cyls. and a flywheel for u to do in a month or so. :beer:
