what the deal witht the high and low settings on the screw in plates that hold the reed oto the cage does it make a difference which setting u use or not?

I'm actually just guessing and I don't know if the difference would be very noticeable but I would say that you may get a little more reed life if you slide the stop all the way up to high tension, and you would get a little more performance with the stop all the way down on low tension.

OR, high tension may give you a little better high rpm performance and low tension would give you

better low to mid rpm performance. <---- I'm thinking the second guess is more right.
