I should have had a cylmers before I started but, I don't. Could someone tell me if I need a wheel puller to remove these (hubs). I already removed 2 bolts from the spindles.

no you don't need a wheel puller. all you have to do to remove the front hub is take off the spindle nut (remove the cotter pin to get it off) then pull the hub off. its easiest to do with the spindles on the quad. imo. hope that helps.

reded: i didn't have to use a gear puller. but my bearings weren't fried. and my spindles were off the bike when i did it. i just used a rubber mallet.

Thanks guys, It's a 2000 with about 100 hours on it or so, but with the years it's got to have some corrosion. I tried a mallet with no success. So I guess it's off to the rental store!

I was gonna say, you're one tough SOB if yours were as tight as mine and you pulled em by hand. My bearings were in good shape and mine still wouldn't budge without the puller.

I guess you got lucky.

i must have gotten lucky because i didn't have any problems. i had a harder time getting the spindle nut off than the hub. but maybe it was removed prior to me getting them (off of ebay). i had to take them apart to clean them before i start trying to put them on my blaster.
