G-MC Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Before someone tells me, I used the search button already and couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone know how to use the formula used on the number on the motor to determine the year? Any help would be appreciated. Quote
airdog Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 first three are where it was made, next couple tell you about your own car (do a google search to figure thhat out), tenth is year produced(after 2001, the # corresponds to the last digit of the year, before that they are paired with letters), 11th and on are how they roll off of the line. The Faster Cracker Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 i think that the 10th alpha-numeric digit also corresponds to the year model on autos as well Quote
