Bill Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 How do you know when your clutch plates are bad by looking at them?Is the idler gear(the one that the kick start gear catches)supposed to have alot of playin it,I can move it around with my hand?thanks Quote
suzuki0702 Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 well bill, when the plates are bad in my experience it'll smell like burnt popcorn in there. and there will be no material on the plates...youd know...and yes thats the idler gear.and yeah its supposed to play around a bit ..no worries..
