greg4510 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 the other day i raced a 96 crf250 dirtbike and lost by a few bikes . at the starting i jumped out on him by 3 bikes but he passed me about 300 foot mark in the 1/8 mile but the 1/4 mile i beat him bad. i have a stock banshee with stock heads and stock carbs, vito's superstock pistons, vforce 2 reeds, dyna fs ignition, fmf pipes. i know he has his biked ported and polished with a big carb. i wanted to know how he catches me so fast. how much hp could he be putting to the rear wheel Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I'm assumming you mean a '96 cr250r?His bike probably has around 45 hp with a good port job and you got to remember his bike weighs half of what yours does.He catches you so fast because of the weight dif and gearing on a bike, and thats why you beat him in a 1/4 mile he's out of gear. Dmcbanshee Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I dont think it's a 96 crf250.Maybe a cr 250...I have a 2001 KX 250 and they have approximately 43hp at the crank. Quote
