okbeast Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 I had Kenda Klaw's on my 400ex and they were a really good tire and bit really good but I'm thinking they might actually bite too much for the shee. I mostly ride on dirt trails, a grass dragstrip at my buddies house, and just puttin around on some gravel roads. Otherwise I use paddles in the sand. I also don't weigh but 140 lbs. so I dont put alotta pressure on the tires. I'm open for any suggestions. Thanks! Quote
[email protected] Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 very simple fix to this . hold front clutch while bike is on and in first gear, REV ALL THE WAY UP and let go of the clutch remain holding the break ........ Go through the gears as you normally would . Waaaaaaaa LA - Less Gripping tires Quote

jlsparky7 Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Holeshot HD's here and I LOVE them. Quote
okbeast Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Posted November 18, 2006 Fixin to pull Mudsharks this next week to sell to a fellow member, so i'm needin some new tires. I've narrowed it down to Klaws or Razr/Razr2's. Not really sure what's gonna make my deicision tho...lol. Quote
sgt seth Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I am currently looking at putting 22in dirt devils on my shee. I like the grip they add to my Wolverine and figured why the hell not. Another member uses them and loves'em. Gotta try it before ya knock it. Might be a good choice with you bein so light. I'm a 6'3, 210 lbs rider, so I can put some extra weight on there. Quote
06BaNsHeE Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I have a set of 20 inch holeshot hds on rims. They have like 2-3 rides on them.PM me if your interested Ill get some pics. Quote
wesw Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 hd are beyond heavy. i shipped some off while back 48 lbs. thats alot of rolling mass. i run kenda klaws with the v going forward hook decent on dirt. but if you have any kind of power its hard to put power to the ground on trails on a shee. cut turf tamers hook good also but can wear down faster. have set of cut tamers ill sell if your interested. okbeast Posted November 19, 2006 Author Report Posted November 19, 2006 Yeah I'm pretty much stayin away from the holeshots b/c of the reviews on here. I might just go ahead and run some old tires I have layin around until I can order some klaws or razr2's, unless I find a deal on here. What do the cut turf tamers look like? Quote
gipperz Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I use Kenda Klaws ( 22's ) on mine, hooks up great and I can still over power them if I want. Just my .02  Quote
ZillaRider02 Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I've had the Holeshot's (Overpriced and Wear Fast), Kenda Klaw's (Tough tire but Too Damn Heavy), Razr's(Never seemed to hook up), Shredder's (Wasn't impressed) and I still keep going back to the Turf Tamer's. Put them on my old Zilla, the 400ex, 2 Banshee's, and some mini quads. Can't go wrong, IMO. They don't really do so well in the mud, though. Quote
differentstrokes Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I'm going with kenda knarly xc's in the next few weeks, a friend ran a brand new set the last time we rode and they were awesome. They wear great and are only $49.99 a piece from RMATV. They do good in mud too, the lugs aren't to close so they clean out really well. Quote
