They really shine when you get the CD, cable...and hit the dyno with time to tune the curve in... Then again, I have a 4mil cub with about 180PSI...if you just have a run of the mill bike...a plate works just fine...and the nice thing is, you KNOW where the timing is...no guesstimates.
