Break in on new top end

Is there some way i should ride on my new top end for a while to break her in or just cut it loose?

I ran my mixture at 24:1 and would let it warm up before i even moved it. Once warmed up i would go real easy up through the gears...then back down through the gears. Do this a few times then come back and let the engine cool down completely. Then i would go out and do the same thing until i ran my tank out.
