yamahakid1 Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I hate finding new stuff on the internet. You can see the Ikat on http://ikatmotorsport.com/ 200.00 for the banshee cleaner burn more efficent ,better throttle response, increased torque under load easier starting. Dirtbike magazines have revied it and said great things. OR just continue with the nology coils Quote
pipebomb Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 yeah, and they said great things about the roost boost 18 years ago. that turned out real well didn't it, after all the people that bought it and found out that they had to screw w/ their timing to get it to work right cause of the spark delay as the charge built up. If you already have the Nology coil w/ the Hot Wires, just run non resistor plugs so you get the full potential out of them and you should be golden. And pitch the silverstone plugs if they came w/ the coil and wires, all of mine cracked after an hour use. Quote
racer Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 200 for some plug wires? i didnt even bother with the site to tell you thats too much, think this through bro. Quote
csrmel Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 if that thing showed any increase in performance whatsoever it would be used in every engine made for every quad dirtbike and car/truck. Quote

No they wouldn't. If they are $200, figure cost to an OEM is even half that, that is a ton of money to pass onto the consumer, and to put out front.. Quote
dajogejr Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Stick with Nology coils and their hotwires...you'll be fine... Let this stuff prove itself, then...get cheaper. Quote
FireHead Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 It looks like a capacitor to me. I suspect it is just like those stupid things they sell at the fair. If you really want to buy one of those, I have a carburetor that makes your engine run on air as well. :baseball_bat: Quote
