shock bearings

i'm in the middle of changing my shock bearings and i cant get those small c clips out. i was wondering if any of you have any tips or tryed any thing that works to get them out if so that would help me out alot thanks

I used a good old set of dental style picks.

circlip pliers. haha.

 

dental picks work. or sharpen the ends of some old needle nose, that work pretty well.

My circlip pliers wouldn't fit in therewhen I was trying to do it.
