switchblade Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Looking for a Honda ATC 70 either complete or basket case how much are you willing to pay? I have one with a 125 eletric start, four speed, disc brakes and a two inch stretch and 45 degree rake on the forks. Quote
silverback Posted July 30, 2006 Author Report Posted July 30, 2006 From the mods you listed I am sure it is out of my price range. I'm looking for something a little rough around the edges I can fix up for the kids, and take to the 70 rally in Glamis. I would love to see some pics if you have some. Quote
Bansh88 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Hell yes! Tres Regatta baby! Were you there for the last one? I own Black Bart. Blackest 70 in Glamis! Check Craigslist. As of a few days ago there was one for sale. $550 in pretty good shape. I think it was in La Mesa, San Diego. Quote

silverback Posted August 1, 2006 Author Report Posted August 1, 2006 I wasn't at the last Tres Regatta, but planning on the next one. I'm going to check out Black Bart right now. Thanks for all the tips, I have people all over the country looking now and they all think I've lost it (especially back east), but they can't fully appreciate the 70. I just located a tri zinger, but its just not worthy. Everybody says I'm to big because I'm 6'5 and 275, and the 70 won't pull me, but they have greatly underestimated the power of the 70, and then they laugh their ass off when they saw you guys on them at the Tres Regatta and can't believe it. Thanks again Quote
Bansh88 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I wasnt sure about my size on a lil 70 either. I'm 6'5" 240. Hauls me fine. We did a run after the last Regatta out to Lizard hill. One of the funnest rides all season! Just have to get creative on your lines. Gotta get a Honda. No Tri Zs Quote
