I recently picked up a 2004 banshee and the thing blew up. i have the motor in the shop gettin repaired right now. I am pulling the carbs to clean them and i wanted some jetting recomondations. i am at sea level (south florida) and the bike has fmf gnarly pipes, aftermarket reeds, and weisco pistons. Stock filter for now but may run a k&n in the future. What size jets should I be running? Do I need to adjust floats? Air screw? Thanks for any help

doesn't sound too bad....but the question is what all do you have done to the bike? Also what is your elevation....

I ride in Gordons well all the time and i run a 310 main with Toomey needles.......it works great for me.....all i have is the t-6 pipes and a K+N filter.......airbox chopped off.......but each guy is going to be different so pick and choose what works for you.......i'm 1 1/2 turns out on the air screw by the way.....

well first off befor u even start your new motor get a k@n filter

and either cut your air box lid or get a pro flow system

and for your jets sounds about right but do a run test

let it idel and shut it off check the color

wit a new set of plugs keep it about half throtal shut it off check the color

and wit another set of pluge keep it up in the revs and then with out letting off shut it off

if u got tan color in these 3 steeps your good 2 go :thumb:

thats the way i check my jetting and i havint had a problem

hope this helps :ninja:
