differentstrokes Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I bought a used 35mm keihin carb awhile back and I haven't used it yet but went through it while cleaning and added new vent lines, throttle cable, jets, blah blah blah. Anyway, any carb I've ever took apart has had an o-ring and spring on the air screw but this one doesn't and it feels a little loose when turning like it should have one. Just wanted to make sure it had what it needed before I crank my bike since I finished my rebuild and want everything to run smooth. Any info would be appreciated. Jared Quote

differentstrokes Posted July 23, 2006 Author Report Posted July 23, 2006 Thanks for the link Kai, what I'm needing is #18 according to the diagram. Looks like just a spring, I'll call sudco and make sure there's no o-ring. Quote

Just one carb here, I haven't jetted it yet either since I'm missing something. I called alba yesterday and they said sudco has a $50 minimum so it would be monday until they had an order big enough to get my stuff with since it's so small. Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 Jared, On your jeting start out with a 195 main and a 50 pilot and go from there that will probably be pretty close. Quote
