For the life of me, I can't remember. I think so. Otherwise the bike thinks the brake is on.

 

 

Get a clutch perch to clean up the bars. It will replace the ugly leftover Brake perch.

I'm not sure offhand, but if someone doesn't post that knows for certain, you should be able to just disconnect it at the connector, no splicing or anything. You'll know right away because it won't rev much beyond idle if the TORS thinks the e-brake is engaged...

just removed my stock clutch lever and all the parking brake crap. the two wires for the parking brake safty switch do i want to hook those together or not? thank you

ya i did. i got one of those quick adjust ones. looks ten times better than stock i also got a pair of black tag x5's. i just had to unplug that damn thing. after i cut solder and shrink tube it and taped it up in the harness and put the fuel tank back on. thank you

Taking about the electrical plug on the clutch lever? So i just unplug from the perch and the other end? The other end, where does it lead to/where do i disconect? What purpose does that electrical plug serve?
