Dinner Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 (edited) Hello, i went out and bought myself some used rear tires and rims. The rims where aluminum, and the tires are Dirt Devils. The dirt devils are 22X11X9, and have a lot of tread left on them, and for the riding i do, they will work great. Brought them home and found out the rims fit, so i took them back and im getting new steel rims ordered, no extra charge :baseball_whistle: But my question is, my old tires where 20X12X9, 8 Ply tires. New tires are 22X11X9, 6 Ply. My gearing is 13/40, so im figuring that i will be able to pull these tires pretty good with 13/40. Do you guys think i will be able to pull it good? Nothing done to the shee or power except bored out to 364cc(whatever number that is). Thanks Dinner  EDIT: Umm dont know why it posted this twice, sorry about that :: Edited July 7, 2006 by Dinner Quote
ellison445 Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 That gearing should be good, I was going to say drop the front sprocket once you said you had 22 tires  Quote
Dinner Posted July 8, 2006 Author Report Posted July 8, 2006 Thanks Ellison, yea i think it will pull good, with the 20's i was going to go back to a 14 or even 15, so i think it should work. Will the extra weight be a problem? Quote
