Dead Op Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 I am putting the primer on my frame today, I was wondering what kind of paint should I get though, I need it to last long. POR 15 was my choice but I sanded the frame and Por 15 is basicall used to go over the rust as I am told. Iam looking for long lasting paint! I want to get info on a few brands and give them to my neighbor a body man up the road so he can tell which one is the best  Quote
ScreamingLiL2Stroke Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 You can use por 15s hardnose paint it hardens up allmost like powedercoat. Quote
Animalman294 Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 The POR 15 sounds a lot better than the ppg auto paint. I think the paint will look like $hit if you use it after a few road trips. The POR can be sealed and will probably last a lot longer........... Quote
ScreamingLiL2Stroke Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 Another good thing about the por 15 hardnose paint is you can apply it with a paint brush and it dosent streak. Quote
