sweetquads Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 I think i am gonna replace the alky set up with race gas and add NOS. I know i will lose HP by giving up the alky but i also wont ever end up with a rusty motor if i forget to purge or wait too long to do it. What do you guys think?

Im looking into a setup as we speak for nitrous but i dont know exactly yet if im going to do it or not. If you spray the shit out of your motor you might get more HP then ure current setup, but then you always run the risk of BOOOOOOOOM !!!!! alky i was told is ruffly a 30% hp gain... With your bad ass bike id just leave it how it is shes a sweet quad forsure. just my .02

Yeah, the purging crap is a pain but look at the benefits you get from it... Aly is kind a PITA, you have to carry alky, plus you have to carry race gas anyway to purge. Plus when all i do is run down at the ocean i am gonna have to purge constantly. Yup, its race gas and NOS. I might be giving up a little HP off the line but the top end will be more(When i want it) and alot less hassle. Besides anything over 100HP is just for show
