2003LimitedBanshee Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 I'm ordering up a new rear sprocket (old one is HOSED!, went to the coast for 4 days and started rounding teeth on the rear sprocket, like a wave shape), and I figured might as well drop another $80+ bucks and pick up a DID X-Ring. But I need to know what the stock chain link count is, and I'm hoping someone can save me the counting. Also I swapped out to a 13 tooth front quite a while back, do you think I can run one less link than stock? I don't really like being near the end of my adjustment. On the rear sprocket I was going to run a Renthal steel, any thoughts? Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 Stock chain count is 104 links. If you want to stay with a 13 tooth sprocket get a 42 tooth rear sprocket and you wont be at the end of your adjustment. Quote
