Can anyone tell me how to adjust Pancake bearing?

I can't adjust at the pressure plate because the pancake bearing keep spinning. There is no way to hold the adjuster screw in place while tightening the nut.

Hmmm.... If I remember correctly the end of the adjuster screw on mine had an allen slot.

Could you explain that a littler further?

Now that I think about it, it may have a phillips slot cut in it. Either way, the adjuster screw on mine has one of these two methods to hold it while you tighten the lock nut. I take it yours has neither?

Thanks for the advice, but the pancake bearing is different than the stock set up. It won't hold in place by design. The hex shaped part that fits in the pressure plate is not there. Thanks again.

I have the pancake bearing, I am just not sure what you are asking. It doesn't help that I can't remember exactly how it is set up. I have to replace some shifting components anyway, if you haven't gotten her figured out by then I will chime back in and post some pics.

I put it alltogether+applied pressure to the arm untill all the play was gone.Then adjusted the threaded part to locate the arm about 1/8 inch to the outside of the adjustment mark on the case.Then i removed the pressure plate being carefull not to change the setting.With it off i put a wrench on the unit on the inside+tighened the locknut on the outside.It was a real monkey show,but it worked for me.

Yep that's how I did mine. Though I would describe the process as a "goat bang" as opposed to a "monkey show," but to each their own.
